01

Introduction

This Refunds Policy applies to every purchase made through onlineuni.org, including Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Diploma programmes, printed certificates, Lifetime Access, and the TilGlobal One membership.

OnlineUni is a trading name of London School of Business and Research Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10684693). By completing a purchase you agree to this policy alongside our Terms & Conditions.

02

No-refund policy

All sales are final. Once your order is confirmed and your programme, add-on or membership has been provisioned, no refund is available — in whole or in part, for any reason, at any time.

The only payments we return are those set out in sections 8 and 9: billing errors on our side, duplicate charges, and the rare case where we cancel a programme ourselves and cannot offer you an acceptable alternative. These are corrections, not refunds of a valid purchase.

The short version: be certain before you buy. Once the purchase is made, the fee cannot be returned. If you are unsure whether a programme is right for you, ask us first — our advisers will tell you honestly (section 13).

03

Why purchases are final

Our programmes are digital content, provisioned immediately after checkout. Unlike a physical product, a digital licence cannot be returned:

  • The full course materials become available to you the moment your enrolment is confirmed, and the value of the licence is transferred at that point.
  • Course content, once seen, cannot be unseen or handed back.
  • Every programme page sets out the modules, level, duration and fee before you pay, so the decision to purchase is made with complete information.
04

Your consent at checkout

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, a consumer's usual 14-day right to cancel a contract for digital content does not apply where the consumer expressly consents to immediate supply and acknowledges that the right to cancel is lost.

By completing checkout you give exactly that consent: you agree that your programme is supplied immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby waive your statutory right to cancel. This is why no cooling-off refund is available after purchase.

Nothing in this policy excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for digital content that is faulty and cannot be made to work at all (section 10).

05

Programme fees and study plans

  • Programme fees, on either the Standard (2-month) or Fast Track (1-month) study plan, are single one-time payments made at checkout and are non-refundable in full, including any Fast Track uplift.
  • The Fast Track uplift cannot be refunded separately, including where you later choose to study more slowly.
  • Not starting, not completing, or finishing a programme early does not give rise to any refund.
  • Where a promotional price was paid, discounts or promotions launched after your purchase do not apply retrospectively.
06

Printed certificates and add-ons

Digital certificate

Your digital certificate is included in the programme fee at no additional cost and has no separate refund value.

Printed certificate (£50)

The printed certificate is personalised to you and is non-refundable once ordered. If a printed certificate arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will reprint and reship it at no cost — a replacement, not a refund.

Lifetime Access (£20)

The Lifetime Access add-on activates immediately on purchase and is non-refundable.

07

TilGlobal One membership

TilGlobal One is a monthly rolling membership, billed each month until cancelled.

  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and you keep every benefit until then.
  • Payments already taken — for the current month or any previous month — are not refundable, in whole or in part, as the service has been made available for those periods.
  • Cancelling stops all future charges. If a charge is taken after a confirmed cancellation, that is a billing error and is corrected in full under section 8.
08

Billing errors and duplicate payments

The following are billing corrections, always returned in full, and are not refunds of a valid purchase:

  • Duplicate payments for the same order, however they arise.
  • Amounts charged in error, including charges taken after a confirmed membership cancellation.
  • Payments taken where no order was created and no access was ever provisioned.

Contact us with the payment references and we will trace the transactions with our payment provider. Confirmed errors are corrected within 14 working days, to the original payment method.

09

Cancellation by OnlineUni

In the rare event that we withdraw a programme you have purchased before you have been able to study it:

  • We will offer you a suitable alternative programme of equal or greater value first.
  • Only if no alternative is acceptable to you will the fee be returned, proportionate to any part of the programme already delivered.

Routine content updates, module refreshes and platform improvements are part of normal service and do not constitute a withdrawal.

10

Technical issues

If you experience technical difficulty accessing your programme, contact us straight away at [email protected]. Technical issues are resolved through service, not refunds:

  • Faults on our side are fixed, normally within 24 to 48 hours of your report.
  • Downtime we caused is compensated with an extension of your study plan.
  • Only where access could never be provided at all, and the fault cannot be remedied, does the law require the payment to be returned — and in that case it will be.

Issues caused by your own device, network, browser configuration or internet connection are outside our control and do not qualify for any remedy, though our team will still do their best to help you get running.

11

Circumstances that do not qualify

For the avoidance of doubt, no refund, credit or transfer is available for:

  • Change of mind, change of career plans, or loss of interest in the subject.
  • Personal circumstances, including changes to work, health or family commitments. Contact us — we would much rather pause or extend your studies than see you lose them.
  • Not starting or not completing the programme within your study plan.
  • Dissatisfaction based on expectations not described on the programme page.
  • Purchasing the wrong tier where the correct tier was clearly described at checkout. We will, however, always let you upgrade by paying the difference.
  • Discounts, promotions or price changes after your purchase.
  • Suspension or termination of access for breach of our Terms & Conditions.
12

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first — genuine billing errors are corrected quickly under section 8, almost always faster than a card dispute.

Where a chargeback is raised against a valid charge, we will provide our payment provider with the checkout consent record and platform access logs, suspend the associated course access and any active membership while the dispute is open, and reserve the right to recover costs reasonably incurred in defending unfounded disputes. Certificates are not issued while a payment dispute is unresolved.

13

Before you purchase

Because all sales are final, we make it easy to be sure before you pay:

  • Every programme page lists the modules, level, duration and fee in full.
  • Our admissions advisers are available on chat and email to answer any question about a programme's content and suitability — honestly, including telling you when a programme is not the right fit.
  • If you are choosing between tiers, start where you are confident: you can always upgrade later by paying the difference.
14

Raising a billing query

For any query about a charge, email [email protected] from the email address used at checkout, with:

  • Your full name and the name of the programme or product.
  • The date of the charge and the amount.
  • The payment reference from your card statement or receipt, if available.

We acknowledge billing queries within 5 working days.

15

Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with a billing decision, reply to the decision email asking for it to be escalated. A senior member of the team who was not involved in the original decision will review it and respond within 10 working days.

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. The "last updated" date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
